You take a breath and hold it whilst walking in between lockers into the locker room. You start to question just what you’ve let yourself in for when three burly lads push you in to a huddle. They prepare you for the night ahead…
‘ There’ll be a card in each room with a question on it. You must answer it. Don’t and you let the entire team down! Are you ready? Go, go, GO!’
You’re hurled into the maze that is KP Live, moving from room to event – you take a selfie with rugby legend, Simon Shaw at Twickenham before you cross into Cheltenham and make bets on your winning horse. Another step and you’re taking yet more selfies with the famed Investec Zebra at the Kia Oval.
You step back in time at Goodwood before a quick snack break with macaroons from Lord’s and biscuits from Epsom – whilst taking selfies with Frankie Dettori’s cut out, naturally.
Then it’s on to Aegon for a brutal round of Batak, the reaction game, and a chance to lift the Aegon Championship trophy. Exhausted, you immerse yourself in a silent Edgbaston disco and some shortbread made by award-winning chef, Dave Hill and his team (go on – you deserve it after that game of Batak!).
You pass through some hedges and suddenly you’re in Wimbledon; you wave at the umpire and eat the brilliant liquid nitrogen ice-cream concoctions of Lick Me, I’m Delicious. Just as you start to get thirsty, you move into the KP Lounge and sip on some delectable cocktails from MIX Global, whilst frantically posting your pictures onto the Twitter Wall and enjoying your 15 seconds of fame as your brilliant photos flash onto the giant screen.
You find out just how brilliant official hospitality is and enter for your chance to win some incredible prizes. Finally, you round the night off at the gorgeous Pennethorne’s Cafe for canapés, wine and a Q&A with Simon Shaw and Greg Rudeski.
On Thursday 8th October, 200+ guests joined us at Somerset House for a taste of all the brilliant events we have on offer throughout the year.
We wanted to show hospitality bookers and buyers exactly what official hospitality is; to demystify the terminology and – most of all – to bring to life the brilliant atmosphere of our events.
“We want to continue inspiring and delighting our clients with events like this, not only giving them unique access to the teams and venues behind Keith Prowse’s offering, but also taking every element our clients love about our hospitality and bringing them to life in one event.”
Andy Vinsen, COO at Keith Prowse
