Introducing our new Wimbledon traditions

Wimbledon is known for its classic traditions, world-class tennis, strawberries and cream and glorious sunshine… Well most years anyway!

This year at the Gatsby Club, we’re capturing all those loved traditions and delivering you a whole lot more! Below is just a taster of what we have in store for our guests this year.

Not one, but three Roux’s.

Michel & Emily - Restaurant 1

How does potted rabbit cooked in Chablis, English asparagus salad with toasted sourdough sound? Or white peach, coconut milk and fresh mint milkshake? These are just some of the exquisite dishes designed and served by three of the Roux family. Albert Roux OBE, his son Michel Roux Jr. and granddaughter Emily Roux.

Emily spent a number of years studying culinary arts and restaurant management; going on to cook in some of Paris and Monacco’s finest Michelin star restaurants. Now she’s back in the UK to cook up a range of culinary delights at The Championships, Wimbledon.

Everyone needs an afternoon tea advisor, right?

There’s no denying we all love a day out enjoying a naughty afternoon tea treat every once in a while. Which is why we have drafted in Martha Collison, youngest ever contestant on, and star of, Great British Bake Off, as our official afternoon tea advisor. Martha will be serving up an exciting culinary treat every afternoon to round off a day of mouth-watering food. Don’t forget to look out for a copy of Martha’s new book Twist: Creative Ideas to Re-invent Your Baking (HarperCollins) £16.99, published on 14th July.

Exclusive cocktail concoctions


After all that delightful food you’ll need something just as good to wash it down with. Well picture this.
