The Ultimate Tennis Player

Who is your perfect man/woman?

We’ve all been there, taking the eyes from one person, the hair from another, and the build of a third to make the perfect person. Male or female.

At Keith Prowse headquaters, all we seem to be able to talk about is who will win each tournament. But we simply cannot agree! We each have our favourites. We even have bits of different players that we like (or loathe!).

So we decided to take a stand and find out, once and for all, who the ultimate tennis player was. We looked at all the winners over the last 50 years; did a bunch of research about each winner’s stats (height, weight, eye colour etc); and cross-referenced it to find ‘the one’.

And we did it! We got into the lab, mixed up all the very best tennis players and created our very own Incredible Tennis-Hulk.

So what, you may ask, does the ultimate player look like? Well, according to our results – he was born in the USA, is 6ft 5″ tall, weights 12st 5, has brown hair and blue eyes, is right-handed and plays with a one-handed backhand, and won when he was 24.

So basically something like this…

Ultimate Player

Roger Federer of Switzerland wipes his face with a towel against Novak Djokovic of Serbia during Day Thirteen of the 2011 US Open at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on September 10, 2011 in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City Like Roger Federer, our tennis hero has luscious brown locks
Feliciano Lopez of Spain plays a backhand in his second round match against Giodo Pella of Argentina during day four of the 2016 Australian Open at Melbourne Park on January 21, 2016 in Melbourne, Australia Our tennis hero also has piercing blue eyes like Feliciano Lopez, the better to see the ball by
Milos Raonic of Canada looks on during the Men's Singles fourth round match against Alberto Ramos Vinolas of Spain on day eight of the 2016 French Open at Roland Garros on May 29, 2016 in Paris, France Like Milos Raonic, our tennis player towers over the competition at 6ft 5″ tall
Stan Wawrinka of Switzerland hits a backhand during the Men's Singles quarter final match against Alberto Ramos Vinolas of Spain on day eleven of the 2016 French Open at Roland Garros on June 1, 2016 in Paris, France Our tennis hero plays like Stan Wawrinka – he’s right-handed and plays a one-handed backhand

Now we know he isn’t real, but we think he’s pretty perfect. Unfortunately, he won’t be playing at any of the tournaments this year (we’re yet to actually create him). But each of his ‘components’ will be at The Aegon Championships and The Championships, Wimbledon – and that’s almost the same thing.
