England equal record of 14 consecutive wins with victory over Australia

Eddie Jones’ men completed a successful Old Mutual Wealth series campaign with their 37-21 win over Australia. The Wallabies gained a 16-13 lead at halftime through a well-worked try from Sefanaia Naivalu and two successfully kicked penalties. However England hit the ground running after the break with Marland Yarde, Ben Youngs and Jonathan Joseph all scoring superb tries to take England to their fourth win of the series and 14th win in a row equaling the all time record of an England rugby team.

It is not all bad for Reid as he ends the year as the men’s singles world No.1 and will look to equal his 2016 success of two grand slam wins in the new year.

sports personality of the year shortlist revealed
